Notes

Beautiful race starting at Rodeo beach and ran the hills of Gold Gate National Rec Area, Marin Headlands, Tennessee Valley, and the southern part of Muir woods...good mix of open climbing and wooded area....climbs average around 800-1000ft with total of 6,000ft of gain for the race...I ended up with exactly 30 miles on my watch. Caryn crewed me...AS's were good and averaged about 6 miles in between....overall felt good...some steep climbs near the end, but fueled very well throughout so no cramping.....a great race with great views!(Edited on 3/22/24....I had pulled a tick off of my left leg at my tattoo the night after this race. It was sore and had circled rash. I didn't have a good feeling about it and by 3/16 I started having soreness in back of neck, headache and drowsiness. Contacted Family Practice on 3/20 for the second time and they prescribed me Doxycyline.)
