nice marathon for a 2 loop event...in Pennypack park in Philly, trail was paved except for a 1 mile section on the northern loop. i took Camelbak along and helped out. route wasn't as hilly as what i was expecting, 1 or 2 steep short hills... mostly shaded route. overall felt better and strong than the last marathon i ran. i've been getting to the gym and have run more since last month. would definitely run this race again. Caryn ran the 1/2 marathon in 2:02:15. we had sausages and beer at the end. we also went to the Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw concert that night.
