I notice that while barefoot, my HR goes up, although my pace is the same.
My quads feel a bit tight now, probably because of that barefoot running, and because I took better notice of my form during the shod part. Nevertheless, it strikes me that it isn't really difficult to run with a midfoot strike with those NB shoes, while that is impossible with those indeed high-heeled Sauconies.
