Second round of Summer Speed Sessions @ Hillsboro HS track. Our main workout consisted of 8 x 400meter at r pace (1:56 for one lap / 7:44 for mile for me) with 400 meter recovery between each one
-One mile (4 laps) warm up
-Followed by some stretching exercises.
-Then did 2 x 200 meter strides with 200 meter recovery between each one….then it was onto the real workout.
-8 x 400 meters at 1:56 (7:44 pace) with 400 meter recovery between each one. Here is how I did on the 8 laps…

-Actually beat my goal on each lap except for one…my fastest laps were the first and last lap at 1:51 for each lap (that’s a 7:24 pace). Always seem to run faster in a crowd then by myself. To be honest, I actually enjoyed the track workout…it was fun!!
