Yep. Definitely jealous of this. Did you get a good sunrise? There was a pretty good one along the river in Oxford...though I'm not sure any shepherds would be pleased with it.

What time was sunrise? I can't really remember anything. Very slow run - but was navigating an unfamiliar park in the dark and had to hunt for the trails at times. Good fun. Saw loads of fallow deer up close, and just as I was coming towards then end I turned the corner and saw a magnificent red deer stag with three hinds. A beautiful sight. Garmin ran out of juice so time / distance is an estimate.

I was running along the towpath with the sunrise just beginning at about 7:30 (so near the end of your run)...I don't think things were really light until 8ish but I was home by then.

Runs like your one this morning are definitely good fun. Pace doesn't mean much either when you're navigating in the dark and hunting for trails. Getting to see deer etc is a great start to the day...I mainly get ducks, rabbits, geese and cows. I miss the wildlife I used to see around the lake in Norwich.
