Tempo progression. On reflection I don't know why I ran the first so slowly. Probably a bit scared. Pussy.

First time I've gone under 30 for 5 mi since I was 17. Guess this tempo was bordering on race pace. Certainly last mile was 100% balls out.

Don't actually know why I did this session. Probably just because it's good to put the fucking pedal to the metal sometimes and reassure yourself that the miles are actually working.

Run less to run faster. What a load of old cock.

(HR @ approx 165 ish for final mile, took 2 mins of walking to drop to 100 after finish).
