Feeling ready
Damn this is it. The work is done. 13 years of it. Im gonna have fun with it tomorrow.
People have asked me if im scared for this race. Scared im not gonna do well and have no chance to redeem myself. Scared of being done and not knowing what my running career holds. And that answer is no. In fact, thats the furthest from the truth. I have no expectations for this race. My only goal is to have fun. This isn’t just a normal race tomorrow. I see this as a victory lap. The work is done. I’ve already done so much in this sport. Tomorrow is just a celebration of that work ive done for years. This is a once in a lifetime moment, im gonna enjoy it.
