Nice run this morning on the country roads of elkhorn, Wisconsin. Located about 15 mins south of UW whitewater and about 20 mins north of lake geneva we had a fun weekend on the lauderdale lakes! (But if my boss asks, i did not leave the state). Yesterday we went out on our grandparents boat and swam. My moms friends were staying at a hotel nearby so they came out with us. One of their nephews was with and brought his wave runner and let me drive it. I had never been on one so it was really cool. Also took my paddleboard out yesterday and went around a bit. Usually you can see turtles but cause the lake was so busy for the 4th, i couldnt see any. Then after dinner me and my dad walked up to a local bar on the water and watched a ski show so it was a fun day for water sports. And of course, would it truly be 4th of july weekend if we didnt watch them and set off our own fireworks? Fun day, happy 4th (or 5th now) everyone!
