Not as fast as I wanted but I ran a good strategy which is good. My period starts soon and its cold so i think i was just off. My times have been super consistent which typically means a drop is coming so fingers crossed for that soon!

Your 2022 Illinois Womens Track Club are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. What a come from behind, what a weekend. There were 18 of us that came, 16 that raced, but everyone played a huge role in this win. I want to highlight some people who played special roles though:

- Coach Kat Vande Pol. This goes without saying, but without the 48 points Kat put up we wouldn’t have been anywhere close. Not even including the indirect effects, such as her training plans and help with people’s strategies, Kat is an OG team player

- Speaking of OG team players, Annie Brunton. Homie did 5 events and not many of them were similar. 4x8, 8, s3k steeple, 400hurdles, and high jump. Talk about range. She scored points in all of them, and even got 5th in hurdles while falling. Queen shit

- Ari Afolabi. Top 2 but she aint 2. Homie didn’t score below 3rd in anything she ran, including a lot of open events. She even had to do the 200 3 times. Homies neck was getting sore from the amount of hardware she had

- Ninawa Odicho. Top 2 to Ari in most things. A range too, homie did 100s and the 4x4. Got out like a tank engine in the 4x4 and held that pace. Great freshman combo

- Beau Barber. Not a woman, but without Beau this wouldnt have been possible. The amount of split taking, stat stalking, and vocal support this man had this weekend could not have gotten us this win either. Thats what its all about, those indirect points sometimes make all the difference

- Khalia Mullin. Lowkey scored a ton of jumps points. Carried us in events people forget about sometimes. The Damonte Williams of the track team

I cant say everyone in this log, but everyone there contributed to this win. National champs forever
