Really smooth and good feeling long run today. Not a ton of lights on this route so i was able to get in a groove and stay in it without worrying about red lights. When the red wing black birds migrated to hell for the winter they must've trained extra hard to be evil cause this is my 4th time being attacked this summer and its june 7th. There must've also been a fun run this morning cause there was a bunch of people cheering and holding signs for runners and I pretended they were cheering for me.
After my biking adventure with Bartels yesterday I came home and we had a fire and set off some of the fireworks my dad and I got yesterday. Im a big firework person so when we get back to campus if anyone wants to road trip to indiana to get some id always be down
I need your opinion runningahead. My park district is doing a virtual 5k race and my boss is in charge of it. Theres a $50 running store gift card as the prize. Its $20 to enter and theres definitely no guarantee Ill win but theres a good chance cause not many people know about it and IHSA doesnt let high schoolers do it cause theres a prize. Also I really dont like racing this early in the training for xc process so it would be a tempo pace run but I would get a free shirt. Should I or should I not do it?
