Notes

Mile warmup with 4 miles of steady and then 5x30 sec fast 1 min off. I wasnt quite sure how to pace this cause josh said 30-60 seconds off threshold pace which 60 is usually my recovery pace or a little slower so i was kinda closer to the 30 seconds mark/ slightly slower than tempo pace cause i was feeling pretty good and i have been doing workouts so i was up for a little more challenge. Including the warmup my miles were 7:54, 7:36, 7:20, 7:32, and 7:21 so semi fast. I liked the 30 second surges except for the last one cause some idiot left turner at a light cut me off when i had the right of way.

Yesterday i went to my high school to visit their track winter conditioning. There were a whopping 6 people there which is sadly a big turnout for winter conditioning at my high school lol. I had two people mistake me for my high school coach and when one of my old teammates was introducing me to a freshman the freshman goes "ooh youre the one they always talk about getting injured all the time" so thats my legacy at my high school lol. One of my hurdler teammates was doing hurdle drills on these breakaway hurdles. I dont know if other schools have these but they are hurdles and if you hit them they collapse so you dont get hurt and in between her reps i tried to jump over them and on my 4th try I cleared a hurdle without hitting it or pulling something for the first time ever so that was fun lol
