Little bit speedier run (sub 8 pace) with Grace and Leonel! Took yesterday off to rest it and knee held up today so thats lit. Figured i would be rather safe than sorry with that, but todays run felt really smooth!
This was a continuation of Grace showing us around her hometown cause we decided to go to the state fair yesterday! We visited the clydesdale horses, saw things people made, had dairy hour which included eating ice cream, seeing a lifesize cow made of butter, and milked a cow which was interesting and fun, we saw a horse race, rode the skyliners over the park, went down the big slide (i went a little airborne), had corn dogs, watched a horse obedience contest, got free stuff, visited conservation land, rode some rides, took cookie shots (a shot glass made out of a cookie and took shots of milk out of it and then ate the cookie) and lemon shakeups, and went to the petting zoo. I felt really absorbed in the central illinois culture and felt like it was an off brand disney lol. Afterwards we went to graces house and taught leonel how to swim a bit and then went to bdubs (grace and leonel died eating hot wings) and then watched a movie (it was probably good but i fell asleep). Then grace yeeted her cat sparky to the basement and we went to bed
Today we are going to get free zucchini from a stand we saw on the drive here, get pancakes in a bunker and go to scheels and a running store
