Nice 4 with no lights so it was a nice 4 straight with no interruptions. Boring routes cause im trying to avoid the red wing black birds hatching at the lake. Song stuck in my head of the day is raymond by brett eldridge
I started working at the lake this weekend! Also if i didn’t mention it before the lake i refer to is called volkening lake and it is the same one I start my runs at usually. My boss transferred me here to get manager experience. But its a lot of fun! The motto of the employees is “dirty jobs for dirty people” and i didn’t realize how dirty it is till i started working there. Mainly cause theres no running water but we do have to deal with a lot of mud and goose poop. But part of the job is sitting on a boat for several hours listening to music and watching people peddleboat and kyak so its cool. Ive also never worked this up close and personal with patrons before, usually im just up on my guard chair zoned in on the water not really interacting with anyone, but this job requires more customer service than that, and i kinda have the hang of it
