Notes
I was worried about this run because it rained last night, then froze and then showed on top of the ice. I put on my Yaktrax that I bought last year, but had never used, and went out. It went much better than I expected and they provided very good traction on the ice and the parts that were de-iced were not that painful. I noticed it did sit a little funny so it wasn't my normal stride. The big toe on my right foot hurt near the end but that's been the usual story lately.
I was quite surprised at my pace. It didn't feel that difficult and all miles were faster than the previous mile except for mile 7 where I slowed down just a little bit. Overall I had a very good week.
