Decided to run the mile last minute. I knew it wouldn't be my best time as I ran 14 the day before and did some strength training and didn't really warmup other than easy miles. This went really well. I wanted to just run a tough mile and focus on some things- staying strong when tired, keeping my head up, just putting in a good effort. The nice thing about this is that the laps were pretty even. It wasn't going to be a PR but it was a solid effort and I'm pleased.
