What a great race for me. This was six seconds faster than my goal of 5:15 and easily an adult PR (5:08 in high school). My splits were all over the place (72, 77, 82, 77) but I know that I am not a great short distance person and I always have a hard time with even splits, especially on a road mile. I am especially pleased with this race as I have not been training for anything short lately and am just starting my next training cycle.
