Notes
The race...sunny, hot & windy...not humid though, I got to the front, took a look around didn't see Bill...hm, must be warming up...positioned myself, 1st mile was slow (7:26) a lot of traffic, had to run it wide, 2nd mile (7:15) I could feel the heat and weight on my cadio but I was able to run a little harder, 3rd mile (7:09/0:48) thhe last mile was with the wind & sun behind us I was able to push a little more but not enough to PR for the series, I was happy with it anyway. The post race after- party. I found Beef & fam. stated to tip a few, didn't know what happened to Bill until they did the awards for Belmont Lake (rained out the week before) I went up to get his medal and he got it already & waved it at meas I was about to walk away with an extra...we all started tipping a few under a awesome full moon on a really nice night to be at a beach for after party..oh, i forgot my socks and my friggin head band...and it was windy of course...
