Okaaaay. I ascended one of the mtn passes. Pushed the trainer up to 100% resistance finally. Geez this was hard but doable on its own. There were 7-8% grades for a pretty long stretch. Glad I did it so I have an idea of what to expect gradient wise. I will try each one of the 5 passes on days where I am not feeling like going outside or time-limited or just can't meet the schedule for some reason. Next week I need to prioritize getting a long ride even if the elevation change isn't as much. Might have to flip a workout or two. Need to practice descending.
