Hot AF. 2000' gain. Did the hilly part first. Saw a bobcat on the side of Metcalf road. He was sitting in the shade trying to cool off. That descent on Metcalf is gnarly, scary steep for a wimp like me. Got to the South end of Coyote Creek trail and took a 5-10min break to fill out the Park guy's tablet survey. Nice guy and he wasn't getting many customers because of the heat. Not even many cyclists out. Was going to go further today but it wasn't happening with the hills and heat. Feel like I took a step forwards in my biking today. Last time I did Silver Creek was forever ago. (Checked at it was last July 31st). At least I am back at that level again.
