Woke up kind of late this morning feeling like crap, tired and unmotivated. Almost forgot I had scheduled this ride and then remembered with time only to start the short version. Did the 36 mile version, but ended up getting extra miles from getting off course at the very start of the ride. Oops. Took it very easy today and joined in a couple of small packs when I could, hanging back and not pushing anything. There was a good pack going outbound on Foothill and then another one coming back which included about 6 easygoing riders: couple of guys, a girl and a tandem father and son pair. I liked the course in general especially the part up Steven's Canyon. Didn't like the stoplights. Hills were extremely mild. Weather was perfect for riding. Glad I did it. Earned the tshirt.
