Didn't get all of my miles in last week and took an unscheduled rest day yesterday so I ran today around the neighborhood loop.
Did 6 miles with the middle 4 at MP.
Yesterday we hiked Mission Peak but I don't think it really affected the run. Still feeling a bit tired and undertrained overall. Oh well. Less than 2 weeks left to pull it together.
4 goals have been formulated along with their consequences
The bare minimum
1) finish another marathon strongly - maybe step away from marathons for a while
The expected
2) finish in a faster time than my last marathon - keep plugging away and try to add a few more miles next cycle along with working harder on diet
The hoped for
3) meet the 1st time goal - add more miles and speed next cycle
The dream goal
4) meet the perfect day time goal - focus on speed and more miles next cycle
