Whoah. This was a crazy jog. First, Eddie went off on a huge dog on Owens. His Master was.not.pleased. when I let go of Kremlin as I was trying to get Eddie under control. Kremlin circled the dog but was good. This dog has barked at Kremlin and Eddie from afar before, but today he was pretty sedate. We got rounded up and moved on.

Then we saw Panda dog and I immediately turned the opposite way. Panda started barking anyway. We managed to get far enough away. On Ken Caryl we had one other dog encounter where I chose to move into the median since they were coming towards us on a narrow sidewalk. That worked out ok, except Kremlin decided to lurch at a car that was speeding by.

To top off a stressful outing, I moved into the field on the corner of Ken Caryl and Kipling to avoid an oncoming runner. I wanted to give her space and not feel threatened by two dogs. Unbeknownst to me that field has been taken over by critters, pica I think. They had holes everywhere and were making funny sounds and scampering about. Kremlin and Eddie went nuts and dragged me across the dirt and grass. If it had been in our neighborhood I would have let the leashes loose, but Ken Caryl is a busy road...Got scraped up pretty badly, but managed to hold onto them. Geez what a misadventure. The rest of the way went ok.
