Was not the ride I had planned. Wanted to climb Old La Honda but it turned out that OLH was blocked off because there was road construction. Grrr. Had to drive up to Woodside to start this one so I was determined to do something to justify the drive up. Ended up just mainly doing an out and back on Canada road. Never done that one before. It is gentle rollers and full of cyclists. In fact "the peloton" (a group of about 15 riders) passed me on the Northbound side. I saw them going back South when I was almost at the turnaround. Kind of cool. Also rode Mountain House road on the outbound. This area of town is very pretty and has abundant shade with all of the trees. The weather was gross - warm and humid. Glad to get something done even though it wasn't very hilly. 886' gain.
