Was originally going to do a different ride but changed my mind. Started on Alma Bridge near the dam and did the dam loop until Bear Creek. Then decided to climb Black road. This one was long and hard and worthy of its level 5 from ACTC rankings. The fact that it was hot out did not help any. Got up it all the way to Skyline. Thank God. Then I rode Skyline back to Bear Creek and descended Bear Creek back to the dam. It was a decent ride, but it wiped me out for sure. 2550' gain
