Very slow Century ride. I had sworn off doing this ride after the first time I did it a couple of years ago and now I remember why. There are too many stoplights, twists, turns, entries and exits on and off bike trails that you can't really get into a ryhthm. There are no pacelines to speak of or maybe they all started early? I rode solo for nearly the entire ride. I liked the part up and over Lookout Mountain and coming back via Simms/Ken Caryl on our side of town. The weather was good. My long ride training has been lacking lately so I suffered in the 2nd half. Also I started out way too fast and burned too many matches. Glad to get the training, even though my legs are sore now.
