40.97 miles to be exact. I'm calling it 41. Tough hilly ride. Route was House - Ken Caryl - Valley - Deer Creek Canyon - Turkey Creek - slight detour out to the highway oops! - City View - Oehlmann Park - Pleasant Park/Highgrade - Deer Creek Canyon - home. I felt the lack of biking fitness after about 20 miles. The downhill was brutal too because I got super cold hands and feet. Should have worn full fingered gloves, toe covers and a windbreaker. Lesson learned. 4281' gain with a high point of 8391'. Some stretches on City View had 15% grade.
