I am regressing...Terrible training week. Everything has been a struggle, physically and especially mentally. Today my legs felt like bricks AFTER A WHOLE UNPLANNED DAY OFF. I felt every slow plodding mile. I would be more frustrated, except that I have to remind myself that I am lucky to be able to run period. All of the achilles problems which continually challenge and threaten me are a reminder that just being able to get out and enjoy jogging around the block is a gift. Still, it would be nice to see some improvements in my speed and more specifically speed endurance. Next week will be better.
