Notes
Cut out of work early today to hit the lake front path because it was sunny and 45 outside! It was tough being at work as long as i was. Few were there, it was sunny and nice (relative to the 18* and windy day Sunday was), and i'm supposed to be using my floating holiday before the year's end.
Got to Burnham and just started running. There were some cute little kids there who wanted high fives (yes, they got 'em). Figured I'd run base/recovery/easy/fun mileage today. Comfortable pace, whatever that turns out to be, for as long as i feel like doing it.
I wasn't shooting for sub 8's but it was nice to see when i'd finished. Also that fourth mile is definitely short, a couple runs ago, i had a 'fast' mile on that same one and without any extra effort. That kinda sucks.
On the way back i had some guy give me a sincere "nice job man" thing. That was kinda cool. Two crowd supporters in one weekday run. Maybe not a record, but worth noting.
Then i got home, and what was in the mailbox? My metal from Tecumseh. Great running day!
