Notes
The game plan was to run the first three loops, and still feel great. Then run the next three feeling ok. Run number seven and still feel something. Then survive the last loop.
I was feeling great on loop 6, and picked it up a little just to work some different muscles. I didn't want to die early though so I went easy on number 7.
I felt ok throughout this race, and managed a 9:38 pace, which is pretty much an easy jog the whole way.
Beautiful course, and it's clear why it was called "Autumn Leaves" as we spent much of the time in the forest. A bit too much asphalt for my taste, but a fun time no less.
Plus I got myself that belt buckle i've wanted for a while now.
Report, stats and splits to come.
