Sunshine Salutation 10M Trail run at Redmond Watershed Preserve.
1st Place OA!
Nice trails out there, most really groomed, some not -so-much.
My goal was to break 1:18:00, and I did it pretty soundly, dispite catching a toe and taking a header at mile 5 or 6. I think I was the only finisher who was bleeding, so there's that.
After I got home I was happy to see that I'd placed first. Out of only 19 runners. . . . well fun time in the heat tonight.
Somehow started my watch late, and didn't take a split time at the half. Tough first loop as the legs were not feeling rested at all. Didn't really check my watch at all, just tried to keep pushing it that second loop.
Time noted is from the RD timeclock. Was that course a little short? Or maybe all the trees interfered with the GPS. IDK, but we all ran the same course, and I'll take the win (considering it was painful!).
