Notes
Hit the lakefront after work, and i felt like i hadn't been there in weeks. After the mini-heatwave we got this weekend, i was desparate to run in some nice conditions. I would have been at the lake no matter what the weather though, as i managed not to get out all weekend. I'm not quite sure what happened.
Well let's see: Yas needed me on Friday.
Saturday was ridiculously hot and humid. We hit up Ribfest with Kyle and company, then spent the evening at Tracy's enjoying her AC and playing Balderdash. Also i got a brand spanking new Nokia 5310 cell phone which came out this weekend. It'd been 2 years since i got one, so i got a deal on it. It's really sweet, and a runner's dream. Stopwatch with splits/lap, and count-down mode, 1 GB of space for mp3's, and videos (it came with a couple music vids, a nice 2 mp camera/video, and it's super thin and small. Thank you t-mobile for finally getting a decent phone, though i'll never carry it on a run as i don't listen to music while i run.
Sunday was spent with James who we hadn't seen in a while. We got breakfast, then watching Zohan (i told you it was hot, we needed AC and Indiana Jones was sold out!), then having a couple beers over Golden Tee Live while watching part of the NBA Finals.
Good times, but i'm so glad the weather cooled off a bit. I don't know if i'm going to survive the summer...
