2x1 mile at 5k pace and then 2 miles at 8k pace. 5:00 rest. splits on the 2 mile were even at 5:48 and 5:48, which is good. all in all a decent workout, definitely felt hard but manageable. in other events, I met a guy at a dinner party yesterday who ran a 3:38 1500m for Villanova back in 1987. pretty cool stuff getting to listen to him talk about his distance running experiences.
