9 mile grinder tempo. huge confidence booster of a workout. got the athens half marathon coming up fairly soon (16 days) so trying to hit a big week this week and then a slight taper. really pleased with that. if i can hit that after two fairly hard runs tuesday/wednesday this week then this will be an awesome race. started out with fairly sore legs, so keeping that mid 5:30-5:40 pace the whole way through was awesome. the river trail/sidedwalks here aren't especially fast anyway so I think this will be a huge race for me. just getting super super confident in myself day by day and i feel like after 9 years of running things have really come together.
