Notes
Finished shoveling and decided to run a couple of miles before dark. A lady called out from her front porch, "You're running in this weather?" "Oh yeah," I laughed in reply. "Be careful; it's slippery," she warned.
I can't say I never slipped a "wheel," but I certainly watched my step. The snow and slush slowed my pace a bit, but I expected that. The softer surface reminded me of trail running. Part of the trail was drifted bare at Monterey Park, so I zipped along for a short distance.
I may have to rethink that whole "Bring on winter" thing... or maybe not. This was actually quite fun!
