Yesterday's challenging long run apparently did wonders for my conditioning. This was a slow recovery run... HR at finish (taken manually) was only 132, and breathing was slow, yet I ran a 9:45 pace which is good for me (warmer weather and lighter clothing helped). My leg turnover has improved too; I clocked it at 180/min. Felt great.
