Running into the wind (SW 24 mph with gusts to 36 mph) was tough, but the return was nice!
I laughed when a young boy greeted me with “Hi, Mr. Clean!”
Near the north edge of the park, a young mom with her two small children stepped aside to let me through. “It’s important to exercise,” she told her children, “no matter how old you are.” Hearing her, I said, “I’m still young; I’m only 64.” “Exactly!” she replied. “You do better than some people my age.”
