Notes
When I was younger I took several unplanned trips around the country. I would gather whatever cash I had, throw a tent and sleeping bag in the trunk and off I'd go, usually with no more than a direction in mind, like "South". I wound up seeing much of this country as a result. With just the Garmin and no plan at all, this run was a lot like one of those trips. Started out ready and curious, settled into a nice groove taking everything in, and at some point the inevitability of turning back. I wound up a little tired, ready to be back home, and happy with the experience. A good run.
