I ran the first mile pretty easy to get warmed up. Second mile was downhill, so I picked it up some. 3rd mile, I ran at 8:00 for 30 sec. then slowed back down to 9-9:30 for 2 mins., etc... I did the same for the remainder of the run except going uphill, which was most of mile 4. I got a stitch during mile 4. Last mile was back to the 30 sec./2 min. intervals. Had a little side cramping near the end, but I felt good. I think I was dehydrated. It was warm and REALLY windy (out of the west) -- gusting up to 20 mph is my guess.
