Straight trail run (walked the steep inclines, ran most everything else)
Overall: 8
Enjoyment: 8 - Nice trail, and a good time on the trails. I met a couple that was trail running too. I stayed with them a good 3 miles or so. They've run ultras (JFK 50, etc).
Experience: 8 - A bit hot at times, but good weather otherwise. HF was a cool little town, and the trail had some breath-taking views!
Effort: 8 - Inclines were tough. I wasn't mentally prepared for such tough trails today. The trails weren't as bad as Catoctin, but still pretty rocky.
Pain: 2 - Only lung exhaustion. Legs and feet felt fine. Just very winded.
