Notes

The last long run before Blue Ridge Marathon. I gave the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail a try. Not a fan. It's paved, takes you through town with lots of trash and backs of buildings, and many road crossings with lights. It was a good run, and I really felt that Spring was here. Knee issues were barely noticeable,. It was the first long run in my new shoes, and they felt ok, other than my left middle toe. I've slacked off on quantifying my runs lately. I'm renewing my effort to continue with that below.

Random walk intervals.

Overall: 8

Enjoyment: 7 - A new location, good weather, and felt good.

Experience: 8 - This was the first time to run this trail. I was disappointed, but the novelty made it ok. The weather was nice. A decent breeze, and fairly warm. There were quite a few bikers out, but few runners/walkers.

Effort: 8 - I was pushing it and was drained by the end. I was trying for a walk break every 5 minutes or so, based on terrain. I pushed the hills instead of walking them.

Pain: 3 - ITB had zero issues, inner knee, only slightly so, and for a short time. My legs were tight early on, but loosened up after awhile. Afterwards, my left middle toe was sore. I'm afraid these shoes don't have enough room for them.
