Notes
So this was really good until the kilometer when I walked a 5:20. I was 5 seconds off my 5k pr so that's a good thing:) I was consistently 4:58 ish per kilometer until I had one bad lap around 8k and let it turn into a whole bad mile. I normally walk like around 2 min a lap so I know what my time is supposed to be the next lap really easily. It really irked me to see the time in seconds rise by a lot each lap.
One more race and then race walk season is over and I get to start xc :) (see this is why I can't give up running, when I get upset and want to step away from one event for a little while, I can go to another that'll keep me in shape). I also miss having training buddies. :)
