Notes

Woke up with sore ripped hands and tired muscles but I was still psyched to climb. We met Jon Lane and Stew out there. I love the Crazy Horse Wall! First route of the day - I led Pony flawlessly. I've led it 6 months ago but had no recollection of the moves. So I will call it an Alzeheimers onsight. It is really good for me to the lead the route with no beta from John - it makes me think and problem solve. Then I I ungracefully managed to top out Carriage Ride Through Central Park (far right) which is a route that I could never complete before. Getting stronger :) Then topped out 16 gallon (minus the levitation sloper move that John couldn't do either). Then I got brave and decided to lead a funky 5.9 (Leisure Suit) that I've never seen before. Took a few tries to get the start move down, but with the guys encouragement I stuck with it. A little trouble at the top, but I finished it on lead. Very proud that I had the guts to try it and the stubbornness to finish it. My arms were toast after that and I struggled up another funky 5.9+ (Perfect Fit). Need to do that when I can actually move my arms - very cool route, I was just exhausted. Then called it a day, my arms were toast.

Pony 5.7 (consensus is 5.9) - on leadv- Alzeihmers insight

Carriage Ride Through the Park 5.10b - TR (ungraceful send)

16 Gallon 5.11a - TR (completed all but the levitation sloper move)

Leisure Suit 5.9 - Led with some trial and error

Perfect Fit 5.9+ - TR - ungracefully send - try again when arms are fresher
