"Run for the Rock" 5K in Shiprock. The winning time was just under 33:00, so obviously it was closer to 5 miles than 5K. Finished 7th overall, 4th in the masters division. Very hilly cross country course with high winds. Race was at 6:00 p.m., with about 60 runners. Legs felt very strong the whole way, but lungs wouldn't allow me to go much faster than I did. I consider it to have been a strong 5-mile tempo run.
