Notes

12x400 with 200 jog(75ish seconds) Took 2:30 rest after 8 to let Dario change his shoes. Did this alternating leads with Dario on the track. There was a little wind, but really not much. Good workout overall. The 75s felt really comfortable as they should, so I think 15:20-30 is definitely in the cards on a nice day. We got after it a bit on the last one, but we made sure to stay relaxed with our forms. May have honestly been the easiest 61 of my life. The 5k is next Tuesday, so we’ll probably have one more little tuneup before then. This week should be around 70.

Yah I'm a big fan, could you give me some advice on how to improve my 5k time? I have a mile PR of 4:47 as a junior and want to try to make varsity next year. I'm not sure how many miles to run a week so could you please help?

If I were you, I'd run 69 miles a week. At least 6.9 of these should be in Vibram toe shoes #sponsored. If you can run 69s for your laps you'll get a pr. If you can't hang with that you're a pussy and should quit trying.
