Notes

5x800, 3x400 with 200 jog between everything(65-75 seconds). I was not in a great mood going into this after not getting into yet another indoor meet at UW, so I really wanted to hammer it a bit. The goal was to start out at about 10K date pace(5:00 pace) and work down from there, getting moving a bit on the 4s at the end. Did 2 fast 100m strides after too. Core, hip stuff, and weights after. Felt pretty good today. It was dumping rain and windy which kind of helped for some reason, just made us want to dig in and grind it out even more. I really should be used to getting told I'm not good enough at this point, but it still stings when I see guys with >15:00 5K prs getting into the 5K at these meets because their coaches fudged their times a ton. Whatever, I guess my time will come eventually.
