Better tempo today. The route is gravel and starts from the ocean and goes up a couple hundred feet gradually. It doesn't seem steep when we run it normally, but it's pretty relentless when it's a tempo. We stayed as a pack for the first half, then Dario, Ben, and Ian took off a bit. Matt and I were able to catch Dario, but Ian and Ben looked really smooth. Average heartrate was 177, so maybe a bit high. Solid day.
