Open water swim w/Masters swim class. Was going to use fins, but decided not to. John had surfboard so I stayed w/him. Swam Mach tenn course inside buoys. On way to first buoy (about 120 yds out) I panicked a little & had to stop & grab board. started back, made it to first buoy. on way to 2nd buoy had to use board again, and hung on to it for longer (maybe 50 yds). Swam again to next buoy. Took another rest holding board, then made it to orange buoy without rest. Turned toward the start and swam the rest of the way without stopping. Felt better, more in a rhythm.
Not the best swim, but glad I did it ... and without fins.
