beautiful day and simply could not pass it up. had no problem keeping within the confines of the tether.
mile 9.5 i saw a patch of dead grass at the powerlines going north. i stopped and decided to take a little doze. i didn't have my eyes shut for 10 seconds and "oh fuck!" a tic was on my arm...so i jumped up with the heebie-jeebies, having flashbacks of tic rock and i started frantically checking myself. stood there looking down and all around and saw none and then i laughed at the whole thing and headed back to the car.
got home and took my doze in the driveway flat on the pavement where i got a sugar ant on me and a sun kiss.
