A tree exists...grows...and does what it does in accordance to life without any interference of mind, regardless of the invasive caterpillars that eats it's leaves every year. Giving the tree a human conditioned mind...would it resist the caterpillars by bitching and moaning every year as the insects rob and deface it or would the tree see it's responsibility for being a tree that grows leaves that the invasive caterpillar eats every year?
A tree has no mind...and I can see how intelligent it is. Far more intelligent then any mind made man.
