Less efforted run.
Just after coming down the ramp from the trail to main street I did what I always do and go right running just off the sidewalk. This would be fine as main street is not a narrow street like some back roads. Well today...just as I got on the road...there was a car making a left hand turn. I did not see the car behind it riding close to the curb to get around him till he was right there. I almost got fucking nailed...like within inches...all because I was not paying attention to what the traffic was doing. I looked way to late because I am so focused with running down that ramp and not slipping on the sand and it almost cost me maybe everything. I take my surroundings for granted...now I will unlearn that too. I am grateful for being given the chance.
